Pink gold sparkling winter morning17:16
This makeup was inspired by that gorgeous nail polish from Catrice's Crushed Crystals collection called 04 Oyster & Champagne, that I reviewed here. You probably now by now that I love gold and something with that pink sparkle in it, just made me do this makeup. The fact that I shot this makeup in the morning, when the sun was hitting the snow outside my window, made it look even warmer. That's why the name of this post ;).
I started with putting a light white shimmering pigment all over my lid. Then I put a pink shade in the middle. In the inner corner I used light champagne color.
On the inner third away form the inner corner I used gold shade. I did the same on the outer third of the eye. Then I basically put the same shades on the same place on the lower lid. Finished with a black winged liner and lots of mascara.
And that is how sparkly this looks in the morning light.
So did I come close to this nail polish?
The rest of the face I kept very simple. A little big of champagne highlighter on the tops of cheeks and a new Maybelline Colorama blush in a slightly more champagne brown toned shade. This blush is also very shimmery so it gives a nice glow. Which is basically a whole theme of this look, isn't it? Sparkle, sparkle and sparkle :). Oh, and on the lips a used a fuchsia red lipstick.
