One of many things I seem to be obsessed right now, is baroque, brocade, victorian design-what ever you wanna call it. Obviously, I am in luck, because baroque is supposed to be coming back this fall season, at least I saw it in fashion trends. Yey :)
Ok, so this is a perfect excuse for me to try nail this baroque nail design ;)
There is not much to it. I had a gift wrapping paper at home, that had a nice design on, so I decided to transfer it on my nails. There's no certain steps, I just soft of went with it. You can still see the photos of each step bellow.
I used dotting tool-for the most of the design. Once in a while I changed to a thin liner brush to do little fern designs.
For the black base I used Revlon nail polish in Blackest Black. For the gold baroque design I used Essence Sun Kissed nail polish in 03 My Sunny Side.
I do recommend starting at the middle and going around the center, always doing both sides the same. I also turned my design so it was easier for me to copy it.
This is my ring finger.
